New York—Sales have launched at Tribeca’s 111 Murray Street, the flared glass tower from development partners Fisher Brothers, Witkoff and New Valley.
Drawing inspiration not only from contemporary fashion but from the artful glass vases of Venice and Murano, Italy, the rounded form of 111 Murray Street makes the condominium a standout among its neighbors. The fact that its floor plates gradually grow in size above the 40th floor gives it a subtly flared contour, reports Kohn Pederson Fox, one of the progressive and internationally-recognized design talents that collaborated on the design of the condominium tower.
Set on a 31,000-square-foot site on the corner of Murray and West Streets, 111 Murray Street offers 157 residences designed by David Mann of MR Architecture + Décor. The residences range from one-bedroom homes to full-floor penthouses, and are priced from $2 million to more than $17.5 million.
Residences are designed for optimal space and views. Ceilings range from 10.5-feet to 15-feet, four inches in height in premium residences. Foyers and great rooms offer custom-designed white oak herringbone floors, while four-inch-wide stained white oak plank floors grace the other rooms and hallways. Many of the residences feature direct, private elevator access.
Amenity spaces and lobby are by Rockwell Group’s David Rockwell. Among the luxury amenities are a 24-7 concierge by Abigail Michaels in the lobby; a free-flowing collection of social spaces off the lobby that include a patisserie, lounge and veranda; a private dining room with completely-equipped demonstration kitchen; and landscaped, private residents’ garden with 15-foot tall water sculpture. Additional amenity spaces showcase a 75-foot lap pool, children’s splash pool, private treatment rooms, saunas, fitness center with movement studio, hair salon, teen arcade, children’s playroom and media room.
“This iconic tower brings together the best in class in every facet of its design, offerings, location and quality, and we are very proud to be part of it,” said Winston Fisher, a partner with Fisher Brothers.“Never before have we seen such distinct architectural points of view come together in order to create one cohesive, masterful residential building.”
Added Steve Witkoff, chairman and chief executive officer of the privately-held, international real estate development and investment firm Witkoff: “We are very proud of 111 Murray Street and the partnership we have created with Fisher Brothers and New Valley. Our long-term friendship is based on mutual trust, respect and integrity, as well as a shared vision for setting new standards in contemporary living within design-drive developments.”
Douglas Elliman Development Marketing president and CEO Susan de Franca reports the firm is exceptionally proud to represent the iconic building, noting that “111 Murray Street is filling a niche in the downtown Tribeca marketplace, offering best-in-class architecture and interior design, a fully comprehensive amenities program, a wide range of thoughtfully-designed layouts and incredible views. We are extremely optimistic and primed for a high-velocity sellout.”
