Two NC Firms Develop 216-unit Community

Greensboro, N.C.—Blue Ridge Cos., a High Point, N.C.-based real estate company and Richardson Properties, a Greensboro, N.C.–based private investment real estate company recently announced the development of a 216-unit community in Guilford County, which will be known as Country Park at Tall Oaks.

Located near the intersection of Lawndale Drive and Pisgah Church Road in Greensboro, the new complex is planned to open in spring 2017. Country Park at Tall Oaks will provide access to an on-site fitness center outfitted with cardio and strength equipment, with additional Pilates/yoga room nearby. High-end appliances and cabinetry are planned for the one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Additional planned amenities include bike storage, a pool and a leash-free pet park with a pet wash station. The community is close to several grocery stores and restaurants, and one mile away from parks with running and bike trails. Residents will be less than 20 minutes from the junction between Interstates 73 and 40.

“Apartments of this design and location are extremely desirable, especially in such a great location. Our goal with Country Park at Tall Oaks is to offer our residents all of the conveniences found with day-to-day living, such as comfortable lounge space with an open coffee bar and accessible Wi-Fi. We plan to provide a sense of community that can be achieved with ongoing social events and unbeatable customer service,” said Susan Passmore, executive vice president at Blue Ridge, in a prepared statement.

Richardson Properties has invested in commercial real estate on behalf of the Richardson family since 1925, when the family separated its real estate holdings from Richardson-Vicks Inc. Directly or through joint ventures, the company owns office, industrial, retail and residential properties in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.

Blue Ridge Cos. is a vertically integrated commercial real estate development, construction and management firm, specializing in multi-family investments in the Southeast. Recently, the company took over management of the Pleasant Grove Village and Village Green residential communities in North Carolina. Blue Ridge currently manages more than 11,500 residential units across the Southeast.
