Glenview, Ill.—Trammell Crow Co., through its wholly owned subsidiary High Street Residential, has completed its 138-unit Midtown Square apartment development in suburban Chicago. The property is on a 2.7-acre site at Glenview Rd. and Church St. in Glenview, which is a northern suburb.

Midtown Square offers various floor plans, with 101 one- and 37 two-bedroom units incorporating hardwood-style flooring, along with in-unit washers and dryers. The community also features about 9,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

Common amenities include a fitness center and Wi-Fi coffee lounge, as well as a sun deck, clubroom, dog wash station, business center and bicycle storage. There’s on-site parking for guests and retail clientele, while a heated parking garage serves the parking needs of residents. The property’s exterior design incorporates a number of outdoor balconies and patios.

The project counts as TOD, since it’s close to the Glenview Metra station. Midtown Square has a Walk Score of 77 out of 100, meaning that it’s “Very Walkable”—most errands can be accomplished on foot, according to the nonprofit Walk Score organization.

McShane Construction, also based in the Chicago suburbs, was the GC for the property. Midtown Square is one of two developments it’s working on for High Street Residential. The company is currently constructing Park 205, a 115-unit multifamily development representing the first LEED for Homes community in Park Ridge, Ill.
