Arvada, Colo.—Trammell Crow Company recently announced it has been selected as the preferred development company by the Executive Oversight Committee to begin negotiations on a transit-oriented community in the Arvada Olde Town site in Arvada, Colo. The Executive Oversight Committee includes the Arvada Urban Renewal Authority, the City of Arvada and the Regional Transportation District. This committee will oversee the development.

The community will be located on 8.79 acres across from the tracks of the future Olde Town Arvada commuter rail station, which is expected to open in 2016.

“We are very excited to be selected as the preferred development team and look forward to working with the Executive Oversight Committee on the Arvada Olde Town project,” Bill Mosher, senior managing director of Trammell Crow Company’s Denver Business Unit, says. “Trammell Crow Company is committed to delivering a successful product that will further energize this area and create a bustling community near the new rail station. We have enjoyed our experience working with RTD on the Denver Union Station redevelopment and look forward to working together again.”
