Time Equities Inc. has completed a 16-story residential tower in Grand Rapids, Mich., a development meant to help revitalize the city’s Monroe North neighborhood. contractor Pioneer Construction, property manager KMG Prestige as well as architecture firm Ghafari Associates were part of the development team of the 202-unit project at 601 Bond Ave. N.W.

When designing the building, Ghafari thought about a design blending modern and industrial components so that it wouldn’t disturb the feel of the surrounding area which is home to several turn-of-the-century developments. According to Yardi Matrix data, the community features one- and two-bedroom floorplans ranging from 700 to 1,000 square feet with units being available at a monthly average of $1,750. An on-site parking and 4,000 square feet of retail space complete the asset. Residents can also enjoy amenities such as a rooftop deck with city and river views, a fitness center and lounge, cafe as well as a pet grooming station.

The community features a central location, offering access to Grand Rapids’ dining and entertainment venues as well as corporate and healthcare employers. The nearby area is home to several parks, Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital, which is on the other side of Interstate 196, Grand Rapids Art Museum and also of Michigan State University’s Grand Rapids Research Center and College of Human Medicine.
