Thompson Thrift Sells Pittsburgh Luxury Community
The 336-unit property came online last year.
PASSCO Real Estate has purchased Prism at Diamond Ridge, a 336-unit luxury community in Moon Township, Pa., according to Yardi Matrix information.
The seller, Thompson Thrift Residential, developed the property between 2022 and 2024 as its second Pennsylvania project. Studio M provided architecture services and Thompson Thrift Construction served as general contractor.
Prism at Diamond Ridge is a garden-style community spanning 22 acres at 1100 Prism Place. Its three-story buildings include one- to three-bedroom layouts averaging 1,089 square feet.

Apartments have 9-foot ceilings, patios and balconies, kitchens with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, kitchen pantries and islands, as well as large walk-in closets. All units include smart technology and are wheelchair-accessible. Moreover, select units feature private yards.
The amenity package at the pet-friendly community includes a fitness center, a business center, a swimming pool with a sundeck, a social lounge, a clubhouse, EV charging stations and 608 parking spots. The property also features a courtyard, a dog spa and a bark park, a coffee bar, fire pits, planned social activities and access to walking paths and trails.
Prism at Diamond Ridge is close to Pittsburgh International Airport, in an area with multiple retail options, including Walmart and Costco. Downtown Pittsburgh is 15 miles away.
The location is also close to another future multifamily development in Moon Township. Apex Diamond Ridge is set to include 300 apartment units and 52 build-to-rent townhomes.
