Jacksonville, Fla.–Construction has officially begun on a $28-million luxury apartment community in Jacksonville.
The Loree Apartments by LandSouth Construction, a Jacksonville-based general contractor specializing in multifamily and seniors housing, is underway. The gated, garden-style, upscale suburban apartments are located at 8685 AC Skinner Parkway in the southwest quadrant of J. Turner Butler and Southside Boulevards.
The property will offer residents a combination of social gathering areas, resort-style amenities, over-sized homes and air conditioned interior hallways sustained by a convenient location. This project is adjacent to Lost Lake Apartments, a one-year-old 280-unit community by LandSouth boasting one of the highest occupancy rates in Jacksonville.
“Loree reinforces the trends that we are seeing with ultra-luxe amenities, expansive exterior entertainment areas and over-sized units with open floor plans,” LandSouth Construction’s Vice President of Operations Joe Passkiewicz told MHN.
The Loree Apartments will be comprised of 300 luxury residential apartments containing one-, two- and three-bedroom units ranging from 813 to 1,307 square feet in 15 buildings. The residences exhibit open floor plans, private balconies, laminated plank flooring, high ceilings and large walk-in closets. The island kitchens are receiving modern finishes including granite countertops, solid wood cabinetry and black steel appliances. The bathrooms also showcase the upscale design with walk-in showers and dual-sink vanities.
Property amenities include a state of the art 8,191 square foot clubhouse, resort style swimming pool, private fitness club, outdoor yoga lawn, pet care center, dog park, demonstration chef’s kitchen, air conditioned hallways and residents club with a fireplace and game rooms. Enclosed parking spaces will be available as well.
“This is not your ordinary apartment project,” Passkiewicz said. “Winning this project is a truly a testimony to LandSouth’s legacy of attention to details in the use of high-end finishes.”
AC Packer LLC of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., is the developer of the project. Charlan Brock & Associates of Maitland, Fla., is designing the project. The development is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2016.
