SWACHA Recognizes NWP for Green Electronic Solutions
Dallas--SWACHA has awarded NWP Services Corporation with its first PayItGreen Seal of Approval for commitment to decreased paper usage through electronic solutions.
Dallas–SWACHA, a not-for-profit regional payments association, today awarded Irvine, Calif.-based NWP Services Corporation with its first PayItGreen Seal of Approval for their commitment to decrease paper usage and promote electronic solutions such as direct deposit, e-payment, e-bills and e-statements.
The PayItGreen seal is offered by NACHA and awarded by associations and businesses within the electronic payments industry. It recognizes organizations for removing paper from the process of issuing statements, payments and bills. To receive this distinction, businesses must complete an online survey that evaluates the use of electronic payments.
NWP is a provider of smart solutions to lower operating and utility costs for the multifamily housing industry, including resident billing, resident payment and utility management services. NWP President and CEO Michael Radice says that a commitment to conservation efforts is built in to the solutions that the company offers.
“It is vital for organizations to reduce their paper usage, and NWP Services is a great example of success in this area,” says SWACHA President and CEO Dennis Simmons. “The PayItGreen Seal of Approval will serve as a valuable third-party recognition program to reward businesses and financial institutions for their efforts to use electronic payments to help save the planet.”
An organization doesn’t need to be a member of SWACHA, PayItGreen or NACHA to qualify. There is no cost to take the survey to see if an organization qualifies. Upon approval, the organization provides a $100 administration fee. The seal of approval is valid for one year from the time the organization is approved; organizations must reapply when the year is up.
