Oxford, Miss.—Asset Campus Housing has begun construction on Domain at Oxford, an off-campus student housing community in Oxford that will serve University of Mississippi students.Oxford

The Domain at Oxford offers individual leasing to provide peace of mind to parents of students. The financial responsibility is only for the student’s space, unlike many apartments or rental houses where a joint lease is signed. If a roommate transfers to another school or moves out of The Domain at Oxford for any reason that portion of the rent is covered. In addition, the maintenance staff will respond to a student’s maintenance issues quickly. The Domain at Oxford offers 24-hour emergency maintenance.

Domain at Oxford will be a gated 216-unit property with 642 beds located within one mile of The University of Mississippi. The community will provide students with a variety of floor plan options, offering a mix of one-, two- and four-bedroom apartments and townhomes. Each fully furnished apartment provides individual bedroom and bathroom, has hardwood-style floors, granite countertops, flat screen TVs, stainless steel appliances, private bathrooms and full-size washer and dryer.

The development will feature a clubhouse, a resort-style pool, Internet café, outdoor fire pit, pro-style sand volleyball, poolside hammock lounge area, video gaming center, complimentary tanning, group fitness studio, 24-hour gym and multiple private group study rooms.

The leasing center will open fall 2015 and the community will open for residents in fall 2016. Utilities, premium cable w/ HBO, wired and Wi-Fi Internet are included in the rent. A roommate matching form is available if the student does not have a roommate but would like one.

“We know the Oxford community inside-out and are confident that with the addition of Domain at Oxford, we will continue to offer Ole Miss students a highly desirable community with an environment that will contribute to their success,” said Mike McGrath, chief executive officer of Asset Campus Housing.
