Stonemark Assumes Management of Georgia Apartments
The firm was chosen to manage Legacy Apartment Homes in College Park, Ga., and plans to rebrand the property.

Stonemark Management has been tapped to manage Legacy Apartment Homes, a multifamily community in College Park, Ga. Built in 1970 at 5327 Riverwalk Lane, the community features 24 two- and three- story buildings constructed of wood frame. The 699-unit property was 96.9 percent occupied at the time of the appointment.
Features and finishes of the one-, two- and three-story garden-style apartments include above-standard ceiling heights, private covered patios or balconies, semi-private entries, and in select units upgraded flooring and washer-dryer connections. Prominent on the list of common-area amenities is a swimming pool and sundeck.
“Stonemark plans to upgrade the apartments to be more appealing to the residents,” Tiffany Crutchley, vice president of marketing and business development for Stonemark, told Multi-Housing News. “Leasing and managing during a renovation is one of our specialties. It will also rebrand the community as The Village on Riverwalk.”
Convenient location
Legacy Apartment Homes is conveniently located to job hubs, shopping centers and major attractions of Atlanta. It is situated immediately south of I-285 and is less than 5 miles from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, to which it offers free shuttle service.
The apartment community is also located near the Georgia International Convention Center. Residents are only about 10 minutes from three institutions of higher learning: Clayton State University, Atlanta Metropolitan State College and Atlanta Technical College.
Nearby parks and recreational areas include Park Pride, Zoo Atlanta, West Atlanta Watershed Alliance, Cascade Springs Nature Preserve and the Atlanta Beltline Southwest Connector Spur Trail. Three military bases are located from eight to 12 minutes away by car.
“We pride ourselves on managing a variety of communities and increasing occupancy,” Crutchley said. Earlier this week, another Atlanta apartment property changed hands.
