Four years after breaking ground on the project, Stellar Management is introducing OTTO, its first solo ground-up residential development in Brooklyn. Gene Kaufman Architect designed the 197-unit partially affordable property, while CitiHabitats and Levitan Real Estate will handle the leasing services for the condos and the retail component, respectively. Stellar Management recently expanded its New York City footprint with the acquisition of a Manhattan community.

Located at 211 McGuinness Blvd. in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint neighborhood, the asset sits in the vicinity of the G train, East River Ferry and a Chariot ride-sharing service stop. Neighborhood amenities include eateries, cafes and retailers.

OTTO spreads across eight stories and will provide tenants studios, one- and two-bedroom units with floor-to-ceiling windows, washers, dryers and dishwashers, as well as private outdoor space. Additionally, each unit door is equipped with Latch, a smart electronic access system.

Community-oriented asset

The property features a series of lifestyle amenities such as:

  • full-time doorman
  • package and storage rooms
  • on-site parking
  • bike storage
  • library and game room
  • fully equipped lounge
  • outdoor garden
  • state-of-the-art gym
  • rooftop swimming pool and hot tub
  • BBQ grills

The quality and range of amenities at OTTO are meant to create an open environment that encourages strong neighborly connections,” Stellar Management COO & Principal Adam Roman said in a prepared statement. “As we see shifts in the living style of younger renters, we are careful to make sure our buildings cater to those changing needs.”
