After topping off Midtown 8 in Miami, Stantec Architecture Inc. has broken ground on BLVD, an 18-story luxury waterfront condominium tower in Sarasota, Fla.’s Rosemary District.

Located at 1224 Boulevard of the Arts, the 400,000-square-foot tower was developed by Core Development and will comprise 49 units ranging from 3,500 to 5,400 square feet. Residents will have access to amenities including:

  • rooftop pool
  • sun deck
  • outdoor summer kitchen
  • fire pit
  • cabanas, daybeds and lounge areas
  • fine dining restaurant
  • wine cellar with storage

“The interior spaces were designed to focus on the views. We created a retreat for urban dwellers using clean lines and an abundance of natural light,” said Veronica Zurita, senior hospitality designer in Stantec’s Orlando, Fla., office. “Inspired by the bold elements of Sarasota’s rich modern architectural history, the contemporary aesthetic provides a sleek canvas to capture distinct moments where lighting and art are showcased.”

Stantec provided architecture, landscape architecture, interior and lighting design, mechanical, civil and electrical engineering for the development.
