Among the session and workshops will be:

  • In the Trenches: Using the Limited Data Ammunition You Have to Transform the Prospective Renter Experience,” which will take place from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Monday, May 2. This highly tactical session will examine how multifamily marketers can use the limited data they have from their property management software to create irresistible experiences that residents and prospects can’t ignore.
  • You Need Eggs: Activating the Connected Home Lifestyle,” slated for 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Monday, May 2, will examine the challenges and excitement of deploying in-home connected technologies, and the relative wisdom of investing in fast-changing technology.
  • Predictive Lead Generation? Mining Leads Before They Even Search?” which will take place on Tuesday, May 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. What if it were possible to bypass SEO and SEM to get to renter prospects through predictive data and email? Would it be a better experience for renters to have their intentions predicted? This session will delve into predictive online marketing analytics that could bring residents and owner/operators together even before a prospect begins their search.
  • “The Sharing Economy and The Airbnb Opportunity,” slated for Tuesday, May 3, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. This panel, which will include a representative from Airbnb, will talk through the potential impacts of Airbnb on the multifamily industry and examine a range of programs similar to Airbnb.
  • “Consumer Neuroscience and Marketing Effectiveness,” which will take place from 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4. This session will provide a comprehensive update on advances in neuroscience technology and their applicability to discovering how residents want to live and what they most value.

Keynote speakers will be Adam Alter, author of the New York Times best-seller “Drunk Tank Pink: And Other Unexpected Forces That Shape How We Think, Feel, and Behave,” and Dr. Elizabeth Dunn, co-author of “Happy Money: The Science of Happier Spending.”

AIM 2016 also will feature the always-popular Video Awards ceremony, which will be held from 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, and will offer Napa Valley wine.
