One of the first residential project of a master-planned development in downtown Las Vegas has started pre-leasing.

Southern Land Co. is currently scheduling hard hat tours that will begin later this month for its Auric Symphony Park community. SLC broke ground on the project nearly two years ago in May 2019 and expects the first move-ins in June.

The 480,000-square-foot Auric Symphony Park will offer 324 units in studio, one- and two-bedroom floorplans that range in size from 591 to 1,452 square feet. The five-story mixed-use community will feature a pool, outdoor bar, rooftop bar, pet park, resident lounge, fitness center and business center.

Auric Symphony Park will also be built with approximately 21,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and restaurant space. SLC plans to incorporate several security features into the luxury mid-rise community including video security cameras throughout the property, overnight private security and a latch system that allows residents and their guests to use their phones to enter and exit.

The community was designed by SLC and GDA Architects and is being built by Martin-Harris Construction. The project team also includes GTIS Partners who joined the efforts in September 2019 with an undisclosed investment.

A PART OF THE MIXED-USE SYMPHONY

Located at 251 S. City Parkway in downtown Las Vegas, Auric Symphony Park is located across from The Smith Center for the Performing Arts and the Discovery Children’s Museum while being roughly five miles north of the main Vegas strip.

Once completed, the community will be one of the first residential project of Symphony Park, a 61-acre master-planned development being built by the city. The site, a former Union Pacific fueling and maintenance rail yard, was purchased by the city in 2000 and is now home to a variety of uses, including retail, residential and hotels.
