South City Partners has selected McShane Construction Co. as general contractor for its upcoming 288-unit multifamily community in Fairburn, Ga. Dynamik Design is the architect of the five-building project dubbed Renaissance Park.

Slated for completion in the fall of 2024, the community is lined up to encompass three- and four-story wood-framed buildings, including 4,000 square feet of retail space in two of the structures. The property will comprise a total of 7,000 square feet of amenity space, with tenants having access to a fitness center, pool, volleyball court, pickleball court and walking trail.

Units will feature vinyl plank flooring, shaker-style cabinets with granite countertops, tile backsplashes in the kitchens, along with tile tub and shower surrounds in the bathrooms.

To rise at the intersection of Renaissance Parkway and Meadow Glen Parkway, the property is just off Interstate 85, with downtown Atlanta roughly 20 miles northeast of the site.

Renaissance Park is one of the three projects currently in the making in the Atlanta metro for South City and McShane. At the beginning of the year, the developer unveiled plans for the 280-unit McDonough Apartments in McDonough, Ga., with a delivery date set for 2023. The duo is also constructing Hapeville Apartments, a 285-unit development in Hapeville, Ga.
