Denver—SmithJones Partners LLC of Denver announced it has completed construction on a transit-oriented community in Broomfield, Colo. The community, called Arista Uptown Apartments, includes 272 units. KTGY Group Inc. is the design firm for the community.
Arista Uptown Apartments, which is a three-story walk-up, includes 18 studios, 149 one-bedrooms units and 105 two-bedroom units. The apartments feature Quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, island kitchen with breakfast bar, built-in wine rack, walk-in closets, in-unit full-size washers and dryers and tuck-under garages.
The amenities feature a community clubhouse with a fitness center, indoor-outdoor lounge, espresso bar with iMac stations, a pool with a spa and cabanas, barbecue grills and a “Central Dog Park” that features a fenced-in off-lease dog area.
Arista Uptown Apartments has a convenient location between Denver and Boulder, which is expected to attract Gen Y renters. The community is located the Arista neighborhood, which features restaurants, shops and entertainment.
“Gen Y is willing to trade apartment size for location, location, location,” Nathan Sciarra, studio director and project manager for Arista Uptown Apartments, KTGY Group, tells MHN. “They want easy access to public transportation and employment, and want to be within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and an exciting nightlife. Gen Y wants all the amenities of resort-living and, as pet owners, they want amenities geared toward their dogs. Arista has included a Central Dog Park in addition to the many amenities offered in this well-situated community.”
