HarborChase of Park Cities RenderingDallas—Senior living community developer Silverstone Healthcare Company recently held a groundbreaking ceremony to announce the launch of construction on its HarborChase of the Park Cities. The new Class A assisted living and memory care community located in Dallas will have valet services as well as underground parking in a two-story parking garage.

The community will feature a total of 134 individual residences, 105 of them assisted living and 29 memory care, in an array of floor plans. Each resident will gain a Personalized Life Enrichment Program offering almost two dozen activities to enliven and energize their daily lives. Convenient, reliable transportation to local establishments and appointments will be offered to residents of the community.

“We were excited to be able to acquire the HarborChase of the Park Cities site and believe it is the perfect location for an upscale senior housing community,” Silverstone chairman and CEO Denny Alberts told MHN.

“The demographics in this prestigious neighborhood are the best in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex. The site was purchased in an off-market transaction from Bandera Ventures with whom we have had a 30-year relationship. By the way, Bandera Ventures will also be a partner in the HarborChase of the Park Cities. We expect HarborChase of the Park Cities will be very well received by seniors and will experience a robust lease up.”

The community is expected complete in fall, 2017, and is Silvestone’s sixth senior living community in the United States and third in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex.

The eight-story building will feature penthouse suites on the two top levels and more than 14,000 square feet of public and private terraces. Its exterior will feature a stylish façade of red brick with off-white cast stone trim.

HarborChase of the Park Cities will be graced by a grand lobby with double-sided fireplace and piano, salon, spa, state-of-the-art wellness center, billiards and shuffleboard room, art room, community meeting room and garden room.

Five dining areas will include a grand dining room with exhibition kitchen, private dining room, casual dining room, private wine room and a bistro/coffee bar.

A cocktail lounge will offer entertainment and relaxation for residents and visitors. Fireplaces in the dining area, memory care floor and public terrace will add a homey and charming touch.

“We are delighted to be developing in such a prestigious neighborhood,” said Alberts. “We believe HarborChase of the Park Cities will be the highest-quality senior living community in the marketplace, and will make a difference in the lives of our residents. HarborChase of the Park Cities will be the flagship property of Silverstone and the ‘gold standard’ in the industry.”

Harbor Retirement Associates’ president and CEO Tim Smick added: “Our distinctive approach to senior care is the outcome of a highly experienced team of professionals with a true commitment to delivering quality senior care.”

“We will provide the residents of HarborChase of the Park Cities with not only a safe and secure home, but also a wonderful place where they can truly enjoy life,” he continued. “We believe that an engaged, enriching lifestyle is the key to a healthy body and happy mindset. We recognize the unique needs of each resident and at all times keep their social, emotional and physical well-being foremost in our minds.”
