Silverstone Debuts Palm Beach Gardens Senior Housing

Harbor Retirement Associates operates the 120-unit property, which provides assisted living and memory care services, in addition to HarborChase of Southlake and HarborChase of The Park Cities, both of which are slated to open in the first quarter of 2018.

Silverstone Healthcare Co. recently celebrated the grand opening of HarborChase of Palm Beach Gardens in Florida. Harbor Retirement Associates operates the 120-unit, Class A community designed by Thoma-Holec Design and provides assisted living and memory care services.

Located at 3000 Central Gardens Way in Palm Beach Gardens, the community offers a variety of floorplans. Property amenities include a living room, library, lounge, salon, spa and a wellness center. There are several places for residents to enjoy meals, including a luxurious dining room, private dining spaces, outdoor dining areas an exhibition kitchen and a bistro-coffee bar. Each resident will have a personalized service plan and will also enjoy a life enrichment program with more than 20 activities. The property has easy access to Interstate 95 and is fewer than five miles from Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.

Silverstone purchased the 6.2-acre site for $4.6 million in March 2015, working with its financial partner, a client of L&B Realty Advisors LLP. Texas Capital Bank provided $24 million in construction financing when the property broke ground in 2015, according to South Florida Business Journal. Proctor Construction Co. served as the contractor, and BOKA Powell was the interior designer. 

More in the pipeline

Silverstone has seven upscale senior living communities in Texas, Florida and Virginia in various stages of development, each of which will be managed by operating partner Harbor Retirement Associates. Silverstone recently built HarborChase of Southlake, which is slated to open its doors this year. Construction of HarborChase of The Park Cities, a Dallas luxury senior community, is scheduled to wrap up in December 2017, with the grand opening planned for first quarter of 2018.
