Jersey City, N.J.—The Shuster Group has reached 80 percent occupancy on The Art House, a luxury multifamily building in downtown Jersey City, with approximately 100 of the 119 new residences now leased.
“Leasing more than 80 percent of the residences in such a short amount of time reflects the unique appeal of The Art House,” Leah Almog Arazi, Shuster Development’s director of marketing, says. “We’re operating in a crowded field as Jersey City has emerged as a true destination for sophisticated and dynamic urban living, and we’ve stood out in that landscape.”
Natalie Miniard of JCity Realty is the exclusive leasing broker for the property.
Located at 148 First Street, The Art House is 12 stories and offers a collection of 119 residences with condo-level finishes and dramatic indoor and outdoor amenities that inspire social interaction and a genuine sense of community.
Units consist of studios, one- and two-bedroom garden residences with direct access from private terraces and top floor Penthouses. There are also a limited number of three-bedroom residences.
Stylish finishes include 5” wide wood plank floors, kitchens with Italian-made cabinets by Pedini, glass tile backsplashes and stainless steel appliances; lavish baths with porcelain tiles and Hansgrohe fixtures, and Bosch washers and dryers in every residence.
Hotel-like amenities include a rooftop pool and sundeck offering dramatic views of the Manhattan skyline, a lounge, state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga room, kids’ room, party room and a bike storage room.
The building was designed by Fogarty Finger Architects and LWDMR & Associates, and its welcoming entrance leads to a contemporary, intimate lobby with a doorman to greet residents and guests.
The property is situated within Jersey City’s Powerhouse Arts District, which provides access to an eclectic mix of coffee houses, bars and restaurants along the city’s Restaurant Row. The Art House is also conveniently located, just 10 minutes from downtown Manhattan via PATH trains and ferry. Additionally, the Hudson Bergen Light Rail system offers rail service up and down the waterfront and into bordering neighborhoods.
