Sharbell to Expand NJ Seniors Condo Development
Montage at Hamilton, an 180-unit multifamily seniors development in central New Jersey, is on the verge of expanding with the addition of another building.

Hamilton Township, N.J.—Montage at Hamilton, a multifamily seniors development in central New Jersey, is on the verge of expanding with the addition of another building. The property is for residents 55 and older. Its initial phase was of 128 units was completed last year by Sharbell Development Corp. in Hamilton Township, which is in Mercer County, N.J. The new building will add 51 units, and there’s a planned building of 63 for an eventual total of 242 units.
Though Montage at Hamilton is a condo property, some of the units are for rent, with leasing beginning at $1,420 a month. The purchase price for the for-sale units begins at $187,000. Montage is now accepting applications for the new building.
Amenities include a community clubhouse with a catering kitchen, a multi-purpose room and a fitness center. There’s also an outdoor pool, walking paths and tennis courts. The property hosts a variety of activities for residents, which have included trips to Atlantic City, Sunday brunches, baking contests and barbeques.
Though not overly walkable—Hamilton Township gets a Walk Score of 42 out of 100 (car-dependent)—the property is near a number places accessible by car. Nearby highways include I-195, I-295 and the New Jersey Turnpike, and nearby shopping centers include Quakerbridge Mall, Mercer Mall, Nassau Park and the Hamilton Marketplace. Hamilton Township’s 333-acre Veteran’s Park includes a lake, tennis complex, and walking paths through wooded areas.
