Chandler, Ariz.—Serenity Development has started work on a 128-unit condo development as part of Serenity at Fulton Ranch. The development will be the final new-construction residential property of the Fulton Ranch master plan. The first deliveries will be later this year, and the project is slated for completion in 2017.

The property offers four floor plans, including two- and three-bedroom units ranging up to 1,900 square feet and priced from the mid-200s. Common amenities include a clubhouse with lounging areas and a full kitchen, a resort-style pool and spa, and barbecue grills. The fitness facility offers free weights, biometric work-out equipment, treadmills and TVs.

As part of Fulton Ranch, the condo development will share its outdoor amenities. These include 28 acres of lakes, streams and waterfalls, and access to miles of walking and biking trails.

Besides the latest condo development, Fulton Ranch features an assortment of single-family houses, townhomes and three retail centers. All together, the master-planned neighborhood is on 520 acres in Chandler, a major Phoenix suburb.

The for-sale residential market in the Phoenix area has picked up steam lately. As part of a recent surge in residential sales, the median sales price for townhouses and condos in greater Phoenix rose 3.6 percent in February compared with January, according to a report by ASU’s WP Carey School of Business. The number of units sold in February was 1 percent more than January and 2 percent over a year ago, the report added.
