Bryan, Texas–Isle at Watercrest, an assisted living and skilled nursing community will open in 2011 in Bryan, Texas, a city where about 10 percent of the population is 62 years and older. It will also serve the College Station area, which is mainly a student town but has about 5 percent of its population over the age of 62 years. The community is located on 4091 East Chester Dr., and will complement Watercrest at Bryan, a new gated community for active adults of 55 years and over, situated right next to this new project.
Another convenience of this location is that it is two blocks from the Hudson Creek Alzheimer’s Special Care Center and in the Park Hudson, a master-planned community of newer residences, medical offices and other important services. Over the course of construction, Isle at Watercrest will employ 300-400 local construction workers.
Seniors housing company, Horizon Bay, which currently manages 23 other communities in Texas, will manage Isle at Watercrest. When complete, it will house 36 skilled nursing residents and 57 assisted living residents.
Isle at Watercrest will feature the award-winning LiveWell! Lifestyle Programs & Events, designed to provide social, fitness and recreational opportunities that have a positive impact on residents. It will also have community features such as full-service restaurant-style dining, fully equipped rehabilitation and fitness center, beauty shop, 24-hour staff, scheduled transportation daily, housekeeping service, concierge services and recreational rooms and programs.
It is developed by South Bay Partners and constructed by Integrated Real Estate Group.
