LaTerra Development has finished work on Stone Creek, a 97-unit luxury community near San Diego. Construction on the property’s seven buildings began in September of 2016, according to Yardi Matrix data, and was financed by a $15.4 million construction loan held by Pacific Western Bank. The company has retained Sunrise Management to handle both marketing and operations.
Located at 3875 Main St. in Chula Vista, Calif., the property sits within a mile of Interstate 805, with downtown San Diego less than 15 miles away. The community’s 4.1-acre parcel is positioned near a variety of self-storage and industrial properties. San Diego’s Metropolitan Transit System operates a number of buses within walking distance, enabling access throughout the metro area.
An assortment of amenities
Stone Creek offers a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments, ranging in size from 741 to 993 square feet.
Community amenities include:
- playground
- clubhouse
- outdoor seating area
- swimming pool
- business center
“Fueled by Chula Vista’s Bayfront master plan, the South Bay region is undergoing rapid redevelopment,” said Howard Heitner, COO of LaTerra Development, in a prepared statement. “Stone Creek is ideally located in the heart of Chula Vista, and offers a high-end experience with a multitude of amenities for residents.”
