The 90-unit project is expected to be ready for occupancy by April 2009.“East Harlem is the last real estate frontier in New York,” David Apelewicz, a sales agent at the property, tells MHN “There is nowhere else to go but up. This neighborhood is a great opportunity to invest in. There are a lot of new buildings around this project,” he adds.119th & Third offers studios, one-, two and three-bedroom units ranging in size from 570 sq. ft. to 1,500 sq. ft. Prices range from $385,000 to $1,300,000, with a 25-year tax abatement, which reduces the tax that purchasers would pay, from between $300 and $500 to $25 to $60.“We applied for this program before it was modified last year,” explains Apelewicz.The project features 27 self-parking spaces, a 24/7 doorman, refrigerated lobby storage, a beautifully landscaped 1,800- sq.-ft. rooftop terrace, a sunlit gym, private rooftop cabanas, and storage and bicycle rooms. The project features eight cabanas, which range in size from 127 sq. ft. to 360 sq. ft. and cost anywhere between $42,500 and $127,000.Many of the units offer windowed kitchens and outdoor space, and all have washers, dryers, real hardwood floors, 9-ft. to 9 ft. 9-in. ceilings, marble bathrooms, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.
