ROSS Cos. assumed management responsibilities for Admiral Place Apartments, formerly known as Forest Village Apartment Homes, in Suitland, Md., on behalf of the newest owners. The company will oversee renovations to the apartments, additional improvements and upgrades, implement a consumer-friendly operating strategy and revamp the community’s digital marketing efforts to better position it to meet the demand for quality housing in the area. Admiral Place marks the fourth property ROSS has been awarded management of by the owners.

Located at 4400 Rena Road, the 410-unit pet-friendly community features one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans ranging from 621 to 1,073 square feet across 13 two-and-a-half and three-story buildings. Interior features include washer/dryers in each unit, modern and fully equipped kitchens, tiled bathrooms, large walk-in closets, balcony/patios, central heat and air and ceiling fans. Residents have access to amenities such as picnic areas, park-like grounds, a clubhouse, playground, swimming pool and 830 parking spaces.

The community is adjacent to a Metrobus stop and offers easy access to Interstate 495, the Suitland Parkway, downtown Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania Avenue. Several agencies including Andrews Air Force Base, the Census Bureau, the Office of Naval Intelligence and the National Maritime Intelligence-Integration Office all have headquarters in Suitland.
