Mack-Cali Realty Corp.-owned Roseland Residential Trust has opened Signature Place, a 197-unit luxury community in Morris Plains, N.J. Following an adaptive reuse, the previously vacant office building became Roseland’s first office-to-residential conversion. Morris Plains Mayor Frank Druetzler and other town officials attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The community includes modern one- and two-bedroom units, featuring kitchens with stainless steel appliances, Caesarstone countertops and in-unit washers and dryers. The apartments also feature wood plank-style flooring and ceramic-tiled bathrooms with soaking tubs and USB ports, while some units offer private balconies and terraces.
Signature Place provides residents with an array of lifestyle amenities, including:
- Two conference rooms
- Outdoor swimming pool
- Golf simulator
- Tennis courts
- Movie theater
- Alfresco social venue
- Walking trail
- Pet spa
- Outdoor dog run
- Video door security
- Storage units
Located at 250 Johnson Road, the property sits close to parks, eateries and retailers. The Morris Plains train station, interstates 287 and 80, as well as Route 10, provide easy and quick access to and from New York City and the neighboring areas.
“The opening of Signature Place is a significant milestone for both the borough of Morris Plains—bringing more than 200 luxury homes to the community—and for Mack-Cali and Roseland, marking our successful completion of the transformation of this property for better use,” Roseland Residential Trust President & Executive Vice President of Development Andrew Marshall said in a prepared statement.
