Houston—Robbins/Electra America completed the acquisition of a 964-unit community in Houston. The company’s latest purchase, renamed Copperfield North, will receive complete unit makeovers.
The acquisition of Copperfield North brings Robbins’ total number of communities under ownership and management to 60, with 18,602 total units. The renovation project will include upgrades such as an outdoor chef’s kitchen near the main pool, a “bark park” for residents’ four-legged friends, plank flooring and faux wood blinds and upgraded kitchens including new appliances and custom backsplashes.
Located at 8727 Oak Park Drive, the property features studio, one- and two-bedroom floorplans with sizes ranging between 468 and 1,036 square feet. Copperfield North offers amenities such as controlled access, fitness center, business center, clubhouse, tennis court, three swimming pools, spa, laundry facilities and 2000 parking spaces. According to Yardi Matrix, rents range between $640 and $1,025.
“We are so happy to celebrate the closing of this property. It was the last property in a portfolio we have purchased over the last eight months, and it felt like quite an accomplishment to get them all buttoned up,” said Kristi King, COO at Robbins, in prepared remarks. “We are continuing our momentum as one of the fastest growing multifamily community owner-management companies in the country and we couldn’t do it without great people.”
