Redmond, Wash.—Resmark Apartment Living, a division of The Resmark Companies, announced that it has completed the acquisition of an approximately 1.2 acre site in Redmond, Wash., its fifth investment in the area in the last 14 months. The site will be used to develop a 208-unit community.
When completed, the units will range in size from 528 square feet to 1,274 square feet, with one- and two-bedroom with dens floor plans. All of the apartments will include wood floors, stainless steel appliances and kitchens and bathrooms with quartz countertops.
The amenities for the community will include free Wi-Fi in the common areas, bike storage and maintenance room, fitness center, dog-washing station, a barbecue area, and a community room with a kitchen, flat-screen television and an indoor/outdoor fireplace.
The area is expected to be a draw for renters. The property is located on the eastside of downtown, and is walking distance from the Redmond Town Center, which includes a Marriot Hotel and office space. Additionally, the community will be located near the Transit Center, a planned Light Rail station and major thoroughfares.
“Redmond is an ideal market for our investment program due to its place in a growing region, the city’s young professional demographic seeking new rental housing, a robust employment base, access to transportation, and options for recreation, shopping and dining,” Ziv Cohen, COO, Resmark Apartment Living, tells MHN. “This site in East Redmond benefits from all of these factors, and with the ability to quickly deliver high-quality residences to the market, it will meet the area’s ever-increasing demand.”
The new community is expected to be completed in the spring of 2015.
