Relevance New York Adds Two NYC Buildings

Relevance New York, a brand-building company, is now representing Walker Tower in Chelsea, and 435 West 50th Street in Hell’s Kitchen.

New York—Relevance New York, a public relations company, is now representing Walker Tower in Chelsea, and 435 West 50th Street in Hell’s Kitchen.

The addition of these two residential projects strengthens the company’s Manhattan presence. Relevance founder Suzanne Rosnowski and account manager Kari Neering will work alongside the partnership between JDS Development Group and Property Markets Group to improve both buildings’ brand message.

Originally designed in 1929 by renowned art deco architect Ralph Thomas Walker, the Walker Tower was transformed into 50 luxury condominium residences by JDS Development Group earlier this year, and incorporate the building’s original design details and includes all of the conveniences of modern, upscale residential living.

Located at 212 West 18th St., the 24-story building in the heart of Chelsea offers protected 360-degree views of Manhattan that are unique to the building since it was built before height limits were enacted and is one of the few buildings in the area that rises high above its surroundings.

Apartments range from one- to five-bedrooms and feature 18-foot ceilings, radiant floor heating, French herringbone oak flooring, Smallbone kitchens, marble bathrooms with Waterworks fixtures and steam showers. Many units include private terraces and 11 units have wood-burning fireplaces.

Building amenities include a 24-hour doorman, concierge, library lounge, a fitness center with yoga room, sauna, a children’s center and a landscaped common roof deck with a dining area, sun lawn, observation deck and covered cabana room.

JDS and PMG’s property at 435 West 50th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, also designed by Walker, is in the process of transforming 17 stories of commercial space into 65 residential units, or 115,000 sq. ft. of livable space. Amenities are to include a resident’s lounge, fitness center, residential storage and bicycle storage.

Verizon will retain the building’s lower 10 floors, which will remain in-use as offices and an operations base.
