Raleigh, N.C.—Illinois-based Banner Real Estate Group, through its affiliates, recently announced the arrival of The Metropolitan, a luxury apartment community built on the site of the former Greyhound Bus terminal in Raleigh, N.C., and scheduled to open this fall. The $51 million project closed on its construction financing and broke ground in June 2016. JDavis is the architect of the development.

Located at 314 West Jones St., The Metropolitan is situated on 1.7 acres on the west side of the block, bordered by N. Harrington, W. Lane, N. Dawson and W. Jones streets. The six-floor property is located within close proximity to local craft breweries, boutiques and restaurants as well as downtown employers. The Metropolitan will include studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments. According to Yardi Matrix data, the amenity package includes a rooftop deck with views of the city skyline, a pet spa, a golf simulator and 347 parking spaces.

This community will mark Banner’s fourth Raleigh property. The company also owns The Lincoln, an apartment development with 224 units.
