Quarterra Launches Preleasing at Connecticut Community

The luxury property is located near major transit hubs and includes 19,000 square feet of retail space.

Developer Quarterra Multifamily, a subsidiary of Lennar Corp., has launched preleasing at its first Connecticut development, The Smyth.

The new luxury mixed-use community, located in downtown Stamford, Conn., is slated to see its first move-ins this month.

Situated at the corner of Tresser and Washington boulevards, the 17-story high-rise offers 414 apartments, as well as more than 19,000 square feet of retail space. Mezzanine-level co-working spaces within the building will feature private offices and conference rooms, providing a valuable resource for remote workers. Also included in the development are four stories of garage parking, one of them underground.

Key location and amenities

The Smyth will offer studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom rentals, as well as two-story penthouses. Apartments will feature stainless-steel appliances with gas ranges, hardwood-style flooring, kitchen islands and walk-in closets.

The building’s location along an active streetscape in downtown Stamford allows residents easy access to retail, restaurant and entertainment options. Columbus Park, Palace Theater, the Stamford Center for The Arts, Mill River Park and the restaurant row of Summer Street are among attractions located within a short distance.

Near Interstate 95, U.S. Route 1 and Merritt Parkway, the property is also located in close proximity to the Stamford Transportation Center, which provides Metro North and Amtrak railroad service.
