Quarterra Delivers 320-Unit Suburban Atlanta Project
A 105-unit second phase of the development is currently underway.
Lennar Corp subsidiary Quarterra has opened Emblem Riverside, a 320-unit community in the Atlanta suburb of Douglasville. The project has a 105-unit second phase of development underway, which is expected to be completed later in September. According to Yardi Matrix data, the property is currently subject to a $37.2 million construction loan originated by Associated Bank in 2021.
The first phase of the garden-style property incorporates one- and two-bedroom floorplans, ranging from 738 to 1,194 square feet. Apartment interiors feature in-unit washers and dryers, quartz countertops, vinyl flooring and stainless-steel appliances. Phase II is slated to feature one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts, including 25 townhomes. All residents will have access to a fitness center, a swimming pool, grill stations, a dog park, as well as a clubhouse.
Located at 1551 Riverside Highway, Emblem Riverside is roughly 16 miles west of downtown Atlanta. The community’s proximity to Highway 6 provides connectivity to interstates 20 and 285, assuring access to large employers and points of interest throughout the metro. Various retail and dining options are also situated in the site’s vicinity.
Quarterra’s Senior Vice President of Development Ray Crocker stated in prepared remarks that Emblem Riverside has the advantage of being in one of the fastest-growing markets in the country while maintaining the intimacy of suburban life. Recently, the company broke ground on a 312-unit project in South Carolina, also under the Emblem brand.
