Product Spotlight on Nydree Flooring Essentials Collection
The new collection combines the look of natural hardwood flooring with the durability of manufactured materials.
Gone are the days when renters rejoiced at the sight of wall-to-wall beige carpeting. Today’s renters overwhelmingly prefer the modern look and easier maintenance of wood flooring, as evidenced by countless listings touting hardwood floors as an amenity. Hardwood flooring definitely increases the perceived value of a rental apartment, but it’s not exactly made for the wear and tear of renters coming and going. Scratches, stains, buckling or discoloration can make a once luxury amenity an eyesore after a few years.
Nydree Flooring recently introduced a solution for multifamily properties that allows for the look of hardwood flooring with the durability of a manufactured product. The company’s new Essentials collection is made from Baltic Birch plywood infused with liquid acrylic and then sealed with a UV-cured urethane ceramic finish. The added protection of the acrylic and ceramic finish gives the wood more strength and stability than it would have on its own, as well as making it water-resistant.
The Essentials collection also complies with today’s now expected sustainability standards: it is a low-emitting, formaldehyde-free and FloorScore certified product. Function doesn’t usurp style, either—the Essentials collection is available in a wide range of colors and finishes, from a natural oak look to a deep wheat stain.
