Bloomfield, N.J.—Prism Capital Partners, in its efforts to lease units at Parkway Lofts, its new redevelopment in Bloomfield, N.J., has unveiled the property’s one-bedroom penthouse apartments. The penthouses measure 814 square feet and include views of Manhattan or the Watchung Mountains.
Prism began work on the property last fall, redeveloping a six-story warehouse originally built in 1915 by the General Electric Co. into an apartment building. Various industrial elements, such as including exposed concrete columns and cylindrical ductwork, mark the design. Prism also added 13-foot historical replica windows.
Parkway Lofts has 361 units all together. Floor plans include studio, one- and two-bedroom loft-style and duplex residences. Monthly rents start from the $1,500s; rents at the penthouses start at $2,560. Prism tapped The Marketing Directors as the on-site leasing agency for Parkway Lofts.
The penthouse apartments include private outdoor terraces with wood flooring. They also feature custom lighting fixtures, island kitchens with Quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliances and custom cabinetry. Their bathrooms sport custom-stone flooring and porcelain surrounds.
Common amenities for the entire property include an attended lobby, a two-level fitness center, a large-screen theater room, a rooftop deck, a private party and billiards room and a dog run. There’s a 24-hour resident-only “grab and go” convenience store and a secure parking garage. Though not a TOD, NJ Transit’s Watsessing Avenue Station isn’t far away, offering connections to Midtown Manhattan.
