- Mar 15, 2018
Broan, a Hartford, Wis.-based company that manufactures ventilation products, has launched its new 744 series, a recessed-lighting system that could be used in multifamily units.
The 744 Recessed Fan/Light disappears into the ceiling and features a 75-watt PAR bulb. With a four-inch round duct connector, the product can be linked to a GFCI protected branch circuit, while the HVI-certified centrifugal fan delivers up to 70 CFM. Optional wall-control switches are also available.
The 744SFL Recessed Humidity Sensing Bath Fan/Light features Energy Star-certified automatic ventilation features and SensAire technology detectors, which react to humidity levels. Featuring 70 cfm at 1.5 sones, the product can be programmed to automatically turn off through the use of an adjustable timer. The product uses a R30-, 2700K-, 16W-fluorescent lamp and can be used over the shower if connected to a GFCI circuit. The product features a six-inch white trim.
