Austin Luxury Community to Be Delivered Ahead of Schedule

The 308-unit Citadel at Tech Ridge will open to residents in December this year.

While labor shortage is causing delays in multifamily projects deliveries, a community in Austin, Texas, is announced to be completed earlier than initially scheduled. Inland National Development Co. and Cambridge Development Group will open the luxury Citadel at Tech Ridge community next month. According to Yardi Matrix data, the initial anticipated date of completion was December 2020. 

“Citadel at Tech Ridge was the first project we developed with Cambridge Development Group Inc.,” John Brown, senior vice president of development for INDC told Multi-Housing News. “It has gone very well and we’ve already committed to developing our next property together in San Antonio.”

Convenient location

Citadel at Tech Ridge, a 12-building, three-story Class A property, is located on nearly 15 acres at 1127 Pearl Retreat Lane, in North Austin’s Tech Ridge. The area is well connected via Parmer Lane and Interstate 35 and is surrounded by major employers such as Samsung, General Motors, Dell Computers, Amazon, Apple, IBM, HomeAway and Oracle, just to name a few. The Citadel at Tech Ridge is also close to CapMetro Park Ridge, the city’s regional public transportation provider, and nearby neighborhood retailers such as H-E-B Grocery, Home Depot, Walmart, Target and Kohl’s.

The community’s 308 units include one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans averaging 869 square feet. All apartments feature an open space layout with nine-foot ceiling height, custom barn doors, washers and dryers, granite countertops, designer lighting, stainless steel appliances private balconies/patios and garage spaces.

Common-area amenities are set to include a fitness center with a yoga studio, a swimming pool with cabanas and an outdoor grilling station, an outdoor deck, a clubhouse with cybercafé, a dog park and a pet spa, as well as electric vehicle charging stations.
