PENLER to Develop Atlanta-Area Project

PENLER is set to develop Penler Cherokee, a 192-unit multifamily community in the Atlanta suburb of Acworth, Ga. McShane Construction Co. has been selected as general contractor and Dynamik Design provided architecture services. Completion is slated for August 2024.
The garden-style project is set to incorporate eight two-story wood-frame buildings with one- to three-bedroom floorplans averaging 1,385 square feet. Apartment interiors were designed to feature quartz countertops, tile backsplashes and balconies. Common-area amenities will encompass a clubroom, fitness center and outdoor swimming pool, along with private garages.
Located at 4510 Highway 92, the 18.3-acre development site is roughly 30 miles from downtown Atlanta, close to Interstate 75. Residents will also have access to retail and dining options throughout the town of Acworth.
Penler Cherokee marks the second collaboration between PENLER and McShane; the first project on which the companies joined forces was also PENLER’s first development, a 240-unit community in Dawsonville, Ga.
McShane has recently been selected for the construction of another community in metro Atlanta. The 288-unit project in Fairburn, Ga., was also designed by Dynamik.
