Peak Campus to Manage New SC Student Housing
Valley Falls Apartments, a 288-bed community, will serve the students of the University of South Carolina Upstate.
Spartanburg, S.C.—Peak Campus has been awarded management of Valley Falls Apartments on Spartanburg, S.C., Valley Falls Apartments is a nearly completed, 288-bed student housing property.
The community will serve the students of the University of South Carolina Upstate and the surrounding colleges. It’s scheduled to open in the summer of 2017, in time for the incoming fall semester. Peak currently manages about 52,000 student housing beds.
Valley Falls Apartments is across from the main entrance of the USCU campus and includes fully furnished four-bedroom/four-bath apartments. The property offers an all-inclusive amenity package, featuring private bedrooms and bathrooms, walk-in closets, cable and DVR, flat screen TVs, and appliance packages, as well as a full-size washer/dryer in every unit.
The new development provides such common amenities as a fitness center, sand volleyball court, game room, grilling area, fire pit with lounge seating, and computer lab. There’s also a clubhouse with Wi-Fi, resort-style swimming pool with sun deck, and lake access.
Formerly known as the University of South Carolina Spartanburg, University of South Carolina Upstate has an enrollment of about 6,000. The Upstate is the part of South Carolina that’s west of Charlotte, N.C., and northwest of the state capital of Columbia.
