Peak Campus Adds 2 Midwest Assets to Portfolio

The company will manage Campus View and University Meadows, two student housing communities totaling 1,272 beds. The properties are located in Missouri and Michigan.

A joint venture between Lutz Real Estate Investments LLC and Harrison Street Real Estate Capital has selected Peak Campus to manage two of its student housing assets. The first is 172-unit Campus View in Columbia, Mo., and the second is 184-unit University Meadows in Mt. Pleasant, Mich. 

Campus View, located at 301 Campusview Drive, consists of 656 beds and serves the University of Missouri. Built in 1989, the community offers a private shuttle bus from the Mizzou campus to the university. Nearby shopping, dining and restaurant venues include Dunkin’ Donuts, Subway, Walmart Supercenter, Ragtag Cinema, Columbia Entertainment Co. and the Missouri Theatre. The property features two- and four-bedroom units and includes common amenities such as:

  • 24-hour fitness center
  • swimming pool
  • tennis courts
  • sand volleyball courts
  • firepit and lounge area
  • clubhouse
  • TV lounge
  • stand-up tanning
  • computer and printing center

Located at 4310 Sterling Way, University Meadows consists of 616 beds serving the Central Michigan University. The community is less than a mile from the campus and offers walkable distance to Kelly Shorts Stadium and the Screen Arts and Cultures. The pet-friendly garden-style community features three- and four-bedroom furnished and/or unfurnished units and includes common amenities such as:

  • swimming pool
  • volleyball courts
  • basketball courts
  • 24-hour fitness center
  • renovated clubhouse
  • TV lounge
  • video gaming lounge

This month, Peak Campus added two more student housing developments, totaling 1,429 beds, to its portfolio.
