Park and Shore Tops Out in NJ
Upon completion, Strategic Capital’s two-building luxury development will bring a total of 429 units to the Jersey City market, marking the Newport neighborhood’s first waterfront condominium in 10 years.
Developer Strategic Capital and construction manager and general contractor Plaza Construction have topped out on Park and Shore, a two-building luxury condominium development in Jersey City, N.J. The project comprises the 37-story 75 Park Lane and the seven-story Shore House and is scheduled for completion in October 2018 and July 2019, respectively. Architecture firm Woods Bagot delivered the property’s design plans.
Upon completion, 75 Park Lane will bring 358 modern high-end residences to the New Jersey market. The 71-unit Shore House’s design was inspired by the industrial lofts found in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood. In addition to The Sky Lounge, which features a chef’s table and terrace overlooking the New York skyline, Park and Shore will provide tenants a series of lifestyle amenities:
- Olympic-size swimming pool
- Jacuzzi and spa
- Library
- Wine-tasting room
- Private dining room
The development is 50 percent sold after less than one year on the market. Prices for one-bedroom units start at $640,000.
“This marks a major milestone for Park and Shore and highlights how close we are to bringing this condominium development to life,” Phillip Gesue, chief development officer of Strategic Capital, said in a prepared statement. “Park and Shore signifies a truly unique opportunity in Jersey City—it fuses Manhattan-quality design, a robust amenity package and premier location for incredible value—and is redefining the Newport neighborhood.”
