Palm Beach Boutique Oceanfront Condominium Tops Off
Third Palm Capital’s project will be the first new luxury condo development on Singer Island in almost a decade.
Singer Island, Fla.—Construction company Wieland and developer Third Palm Capital have topped off VistaBlue Singer Island, a luxury oceanfront condominium on Singer Island, Fla. in Palm Beach County. It is the first luxury condominium built on the island in almost 10 years.
The 19-story condominium tower features 58 residences, each with terraces above an private beach. Prices at the GliddenSpina-designed building range from $1.4 million to almost $8 million, the latter for penthouse residences.
Construction on the high-profile development began in late 2015, and is slated to be complete in January 2018. The builder, developer and interior designer are collaborating to unveil four fully-finished and furnished model residences for touring while construction proceeds.
Some 57,000 square feet of glass and 19,000 cubic yards of concrete went into the tower, mold-resistant drywall was incorporated throughout the building and the development features Level 5 wall and ceiling finishes, the highest level available.
European touches are evident throughout, from the German appliances and cabinets and Italian porcelain flooring to the top-of-the-line German elevators. The tower’s water-resistant synthetic stucco exterior is backed by a 15-year warranty and the water-proofed electrical bus duct is accompanied by a whole-building life safety backup generator.
“In constructing VistaBlue Singer Island, we have faced a few challenges, particularly the fact that the site lacks the space to store materials on property,” Wieland senior project manager for VistaBlue Singer Island Michael Roeser told MHN. “We have also worked around a shortage of manpower due to the South Florida construction market conditions.
“We’ve been able to [overcome] these challenges by securing on-time deliveries of materials and ensuring sophisticated site logistics. Wieland has also established the best team and best subcontractors in the region for the project, solving problems before they become problems.”
VistaBlue Singer Island residences offer modern floor plans, designer kitchens with kitchen cabinetry by Poggenpohl and appliances by Miele. Upscale features and finishes include floor-to-ceiling windows and wraparound terraces featuring awe-inspiring views of the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway.
Among the resort-style amenities of the development are the elevated pool terrace overlooking the Atlantic with cabanas, spa pool, two gas-fire pits, state-of-the-art fitness center, men’s and women’s luxury locker rooms with saunas and club room and card room.
The condominium also offers a social lounge with HD TVs, two bars, a boardroom with integrated presentation technologies and a sprawling and unspoiled private beach.
“VistaBlue Singer Island is on schedule thanks to the technical expertise, professionalism and dedication of Wieland, its subcontractors and the entire building and design team,” Third Palm Capital executive director Randall Tuller said. “We instructed Wieland to use only the best subs and trades in the region. This certainly increases our costs, but the result is a building that we can all be proud of, and one that will stand the test of time.”
The property is being marketed by Douglas Elliman.
