Palladius Acquires 9 Value-Add Properties

This diversified collection totals more than 2,500 units.

Palladius Capital Management has continued its recent buying spree by acquiring nine value-add residential properties totaling more than 2,500 units. Together, they have a total capitalization of $579 million.

The acquisition was made through a recently closed Palladius-sponsored private real estate investment fund, which raised approximately $112 million in equity, primarily in the private wealth channel.

For the student housing communities purchased in the transaction, Palladius targeted universities with high application/enrollment growth.

Palladius invested more than $170 million in residential properties along the Austin-San Antonio Interstate 35 corridor from June 2023 to June 2024. Also in the same period, the company acquired The Luxx, a 220-unit, 694-bed student housing property near the University of Texas at San Antonio, from Crow Holdings Capital and The Preiss Co. The sellers bought the property in 2019.
