Olympus Property has bought Crossing at Daybreak, a Class A 315-unit garden-style community near Salt Lake City, featuring a mix of two- and three-story buildings, thus extending its portfolio across 10 states. Located within the 4,000-acre, master-planned community of Daybreak in South Jordan, the property will be rebranded as Olympus at Daybreak.

Built in 2011, the asset features a mix one-, two- and three-bedroom units with an average unit size of 1,110 square feet.

Common area amenities include:

  • 25 parks with sport courts
  • pavilions
  • ball fields
  • playground equipment
  • community gardens
  • walking and hiking trails
  • 70 acres of kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, sailing and fishing

“Olympus at Daybreak is an opportunity for our company to expand into a new market with a strong fundamental story. The asset is in a flourishing community with plenty of long-term upside for our firm and our partners,” said Chase Bennett, director of acquisitions at Olympus Property, in a prepared statement.

The asset is situated about 15 miles from Salt Lake City. Highly rated schools and the light rail system are also nearby. Highway 154 is easily accessible from the property.
