The 344-unit community in Groveport, Ohio, in the Columbus metro area, is spread across 5.7 acres. The seller was Ardent Communities.
An affiliate of private equity group Hamilton Point Investments has purchased Winchester Park, a 344-unit community in Groveport, Ohio. According to public records, Columbus-based Ardent Communities sold the asset for $21 million.
Located at 4080 Waderidge Trail, Winchester Park is 11 miles southeast of downtown Columbus. The property is near the interchange of Route 33 and Interstate 270. The asset is within walking distance of shopping and dining establishments, and is within a 10-minute drive of Eastland Mall.
The property spreads across 5.7 acres and the 344 units include one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans. Unit amenities include above-standard ceiling heights, energy-efficient appliances and washer/dryer connections. Common-area amenities include a swimming pool, business center, clubhouse, fitness center, laundry facility and playground.
Recently, The Foundation for Affordable Housing purchased a 70-unit fully affordable community in the same area, paying $1.3 million to Spieker Realty for Bridlewood Village located in Obetz, Ohio.
