Santa Barbara, Calif.—Until recently, NorthWest International Healthcare Properties REIT managed accounting and financial reporting for its worldwide real estate investment portfolio with several different platforms, making consolidated reporting difficult. To solve that problem, NorthWest recently consolidated onto Yardi Voyager® as its single technology platform.
“We needed an end-to-end business platform for our widely dispersed operations. It had to handle accounting and property management operations while accommodating the languages and currencies of our investors in Canada, Germany, Brazil, New Zealand and Australia. In evaluating our options we found that Voyager possesses all of those capabilities,” said Jason Gilbert, vice president of information technology for NorthWest. “We have enormous reporting obligations as a public entity, and with Voyager we can collect our data in a systematic way and generate consolidated reports with one click.”
