JHP Architecture is designing the project, while Andres Construction will serve as general contractor. Comerica Bank and Southside Bank are providing construction financing. The project at 1415 S. Broadway St. forms part of the larger Union at Carrollton project, which will bring 1,046 units and nearly 20,000 square feet of commercial space to the city’s historic downtown area upon completion of the fourth phase.
High Street Residential, a unit of Trammell Crow Co., started work on the development in 2011, and together with its partner Olympus Property broke ground on the third phase of Union at Carrollton in 2017. The new phase occupies a 5.1-acre site and will feature bedroom units ranging in size from one to three bedrooms and from 474 to 1,540 square feet.
Units will have washers and dryers, custom cabinets and 9- to 10-foot ceiling heights. Amenities of the luxury community will include a fitness center, pool and fire pits. The project is located off Interstate 35E and adjacent to the Downtown Carrollton Station on the DART Green Line, with service to various parts of Dallas and the DFW International Airport.
