Newtown Square, Pa.—D.R. Horton’s latest development, The Grande at Muirwood Hill, sold so well in its initial offering that the firm has released a new phase of home sites in Newton Square, Pa.

Located on Newtown Street in Newtown Square, The Grande at Muirwood Hill features spacious two-story homes, offering approximately 1,985 to 2,338 square feet of upscale, comfortable living space that includes three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, two-car garages and full and in-ground walkout basements.

Kitchen amenities include stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and islands. Other fine finishes and touches throughout the homes include volume ceilings, hardwood and ceramic tile floors, dual vanities in the master and main bathrooms, with luxurious master baths featuring separate showers and soaking tubs.

According to a spokesperson at D.R. Horton’s Pennsylvania/New Jersey division, buyer interest intensified after opening two model homes earlier this year. Limited-time pre-construction pricing for the homes range from the low-$400s to the mid-$500s.

The Grande at Muirwood Hill is close to Routes 1, 3, 320, the Mid-County Expressway (I-476), and I-95, for easy access to anywhere in Delaware County, Philadelphia, or elsewhere in the Delaware Valley.

The community is situated in a convenient Main Line location that is surrounded by both nature and history. Ridley Creek State Park is close by and offers more than 2,600 acres of woodlands and meadows. The community is also close to numerous other parks and open spaces. It’s also part of the highly ranked Marple Newton School District.

Newtown Township is home to many historical sites, including five that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including Bartram’s Covered Bridge, the Paper Mill House and Square Tavern.

D.R. Horton has built more than 470,000 homes.
