Chicago—Lexington Homes is set to break ground on new townhomes at Lexington Chase in Palatine, Ill.

The homes are specifically designed for the community and will be available in early 2016. Lexington Chase signifies Lexington’s third townhome development in Palatine within the past three years.

Situated at the corner of Quentin and Palatine roads, Lexington Chase is served by the respected William Fremd High School. The property also highlights a scenic setting, surrounded by a wooded site across from Reimer Reservoir Park and nearly one mile from downtown Palatine, offering a variety of shops, restaurants and the Palatine Metra Station.

2239_LexingtonChase“The townhomes offered at Lexington Chase are Lexington Homes’ latest and greatest floor plans that are designed to live more like a single-family home, with extra functional and flexible living areas,” said Jeff Benach, co-principal of Lexington Homes. “We’ve had a tremendous amount of success at our two other Palatine townhome communities – Lexington Hills and Lexington Oaks – and we anticipate Lexington Chase will generate even more interest thanks to its spacious floor plans that can accommodate any lifestyle. When you combine their size with their desirable location, you have the perfect home for a wide range of homebuyers, including single professionals, young families and empty nesters.”

The property offers two floor plans with three- to four-bedrooms, 2.5 to 3.5 baths, two-car garages and backyards with private patios and balconies. Homes vary in size from 1,905 to 2,108 square feet and are priced starting at $339,990.

All units include master suits with a walk-in closet and master bath with a granite-topped, double-bowl vanity and a large walk-in shower. An upstairs laundry room conveniently placed next to the bedrooms adds to the overall functionality of the homes. Lexington Chase provides gourmet kitchens with over-sized islands and a breakfast bar overhangs with seating for up to four. The flexible floor plans allow for formal and/or casual dining areas next to the kitchen or between the kitchen and great room, with ample space for larger gatherings. An expanded bonus room on the lower level can be used as a fitness room, home office or theater.

The Spencer layout has the ability to upgrade the lower-level space, which overlooks the backyard, from a bonus room with powder room to a guest suite with full bath. This unit style also has the option of upgrading the master bath to a deluxe master bath including a tub and walk-in shower.

The Laurel floorplan allows buyers to configure the spacious kitchen in different ways with the option of using extra space as a breakfast room or a den. The Laurel also has the option of two large master suites on the upper floor, each with a walk-in closet and master bath, and an option guest suite with full bath on the lower level. A unique feature of the Laurel is a niche in the kitchen – a great spot for showcasing photos or artwork – and extra storage under the stairway.

Along with enhancing flexible spaces in its home designs, Lexington is known for including higher-end finishes that most builders charge extra for. Standard features include 9-foot ceilings, hardwood flooring on the main level, granite countertops in the kitchen and master bath, 42-inch upper kitchen cabinets, energy-efficient stainless steel GE appliances and 12×12-inch ceramic flooring in entryways and baths. Lexington offers the most up-to-date selections in flooring, fixtures and home features that reflect today’s housing trends and design genres.

Due to the location, residents can enjoy outdoor recreational activities like biking and hiking on trails adjacent to their homes, or take advantage of nearby shopping and dining.

The property is just 30 miles from Chicago’s Loop and 14 miles from O’Hare International Airport. Lexington Chase is situated in the renowned Community Consolidated School District 15, a winner of the Malcolm Balridge National Quality Award, a prestigious award few school districts in the nation have won.
