San Antonio—Cordillera Ranch Development Corp., a subsidiary of Texas-based DH Investment Co., announced the start of construction of an Outfitter Center at Cordillera Ranch, an 8,700-acre master-planned community in Boerne, Texas. The project is slated for completion in early 2017.
The new facility will house the club’s river and fishing equipment and also provide a pro shop fully stocked with fishing, kayaking and outdoor equipment. The center will also offer kayak, fishing and other outdoor activity sales and repair. More so, Cordillera Ranch staff members will coordinate and conduct guided fishing and river excursions from the Outfitters Center. Even more so, residents and members who own their own equipment will be able to utilize the club shuttle service for river and fishing trips, providing them full river access.
“The continued rapid growth of our community and our members’ passions for the sporting lifestyle fueled construction of the new Outfitter Center,” Charlie Hill, president & COO for DH Investments, developer of Cordillera Ranch, said in a prepared statement. “Very few clubs and communities embrace the active outdoor lifestyle like Cordillera Ranch.”
The River Club is part of the septet resort-style clubs at Cordillera Ranch, the other six are: The Social Club, The Tennis and Swim Club, The Equestrian Club, The Rod and Gun Club, The Spa and Athletic Club, and The Golf Club.
