New Luxury Community Breaks Ground in San Marcos

San Marcos, Texas—Covenant Development and Parkcrest Builders announced the groundbreaking of a new luxury multifamily community in San Marcos. The first units are expected to be delivered in the summer of 2017.

Known as The Residence at San Marcos, the three-story, 240-unit luxury rental community will offer one- and two-bedroom floor plans. The resident amenity package will include a resort-style pool, club house with an internet lounge and resident community space, fitness and yoga area, covered parking, enclosed garages, leasable storage space, co-work space, as well as a resident portal which will serve to compliment the high standard of resident care.

“We are thrilled to have an opportunity to bring The Residence’s newest community into San Marcos.  This project is the culmination of a multi-faceted, multiple-team effort and we are proud of the new design and development results, keeping San Marcos’ existing charm and draw in mind,” Ryan Johnson, president of Covenant Development, said in prepared remarks. The partnership is also in the process of completing a similar upscale project near Lake Texoma. The Residence at Gateway Village will be part of a master-planned community in the northern end of the state.
